山西关铝股份有限公司为增强企业竞争力，培育新的经济增长点，建设铝加工分厂。该项目占地160余亩，建筑面积23000平方米，固定资产达4亿余元，年产铝带箔产品10000吨，热轧产品4万吨，是关铝公司的骨干企业之一。
分厂目前主要生产设备有：6T电阻静置保温炉和φ600×1000铝带连铸连轧机组各3套；260/630×800四重不可逆冷轧机组2套，半连续铸造设备2套，φ630/1100×1300单机架双卷取四辊可逆式热轧机组1套，10T成品退火炉4台。生产线采用陶瓷板过滤技术，先进的AG自动控制技术和X-RAY800测厚仪，保证产品各项技术指标达到和超过国家高精级标准。2000年8月份分厂通过ISO9002质量体系认证，2003年9月通过ISO9000质量体系认证换版工作。
主要产品品种有：电缆箔、空调箔、电子箔、合金箔、铝塑复合管用铝带、瓶盖料等，广泛应用航空、运输、电力、通讯、空调、包装，管道等。
目前，铝加工分厂正在进行三期工程建设，工程占地54000平方米，建筑面积约29000平方米。工程建设主要围绕二期工程的1300毫米热轧机进行的。三期工程拟建三个车间（铸锭车间、冷轧车间、铸轧车间）和相应配套设施，产品定位在空调箔、合金板材、铝板带材、PS板基以及家用箔等10余种，年产能力45000-50000吨。产品最薄厚度0.014毫米。2005年，三期工程建成后，铝加工分厂年产能力可达5.5-6万吨，将在国内板带箔加工行业中名列前10位。同时，三期工程建成后，和山西关铝海门电子铝材有限责任公司的精铝电子箔、山西关铝常州宏丰金属加工有限公司的亲水箔形成一个完整的铝加工产业链。

In order to strengthen
the power of the competition of the enterprise and develop the
new economic growth engine, Shanxi Guanlu Limited Liability Company
newly built the Aluminium Processing factory with the building
area of 23000m, fixed assets of 400000000 yuan RMB, annual production
of Aluminium strip and foil of 10000 tons, hot-rolling product
of 40000 tons. The factory is one of the core enterprises of the
company.
At presnt, the main production facilities of the factory are:
6T resistance static maintaining furnace, 6 sets of Ф 600x1000
casting and rolling machines(each3), 2 sets of 4-roller non-reversible
cold rolling unit, 2 sets of semi-continuous casting equipment,
one set of Ф 630/1100x1300 single rach and double rolling 4 roller
reversible hot-rolling unit, and 4 annealling stoves of 10-ton
finished product. The production line adopts filter technology
with porcelain plate, advanced AG automatic control technology
and X-Ray 800 pachometer to ensure the technical targets of all
products to come up to the high-grade and precision GB standard-In
August, 2000 the factory passed the authentication of IS09002
quality system. In September, 2003 the factory passed the change
of IS09000 quality system attestation.
Its main products include cable foil, air-conditioner foil,
electronic foil, alloy foil, AL-strip and bottle cap for the used
of Al-plastic compound pipe, which are widely used in aviation,
transportation, electric power, communication, air-conditioning,
package and pipes.
Now the factory is going on the 3rd of phase of the project
construction with an area of 54000m, among which 29000m are the
building area. The third phase of the project is mainly focused
on the 1300mm hot-rolling, expand 3 workshops and relevant supporting
facilities( ingot casting workshop, cold rolling workshop and
casting and rolling workshop).The products are mainly focused
on air-conditioning foil, alloy plate material, Al-plate strip
material PS plate and household foil etc. Yearly production capacity
is 45000-50000 tons. the thinnest thickness of the product is
0.014 mm. After the completion of the third phase of the project
in 2005, the annual production capacity will reach 55000-60000
tons and the factory will rank among the 10 best of the domestic
Al-plate, strip and foil processing enterprises and while the
third phase of the project is complete, the precision Al-electronic
foil of Shanxi Guanlu Haimen Electronic AL-material Limited company
and the hydrophilic foil of Shanxi Guanlu Changzhou Hongfeng Metal
processing Limited Company will form a complete Al-processing
industrial chain.
